    In November 2008, the Venerable Khenpo Rinpoches conferred the empowerments of the entire terma revelations of Tsasum Lingpa at the Orgyen Samye Chökhor Ling Nunnery in Sarnath, India.

    Opening the First Nunnery in the Holy Land of Sarnath: Orgyen Samye Chökhor Ling

    On OCTOBER 31ST, 2006, the Venerable Khenpos, Ani Lorraine, and five students journeyed to India to consecrate their nunnery in Deer Park. Their arrival at the monastery in Sarnath—Padma Samye Chökhor Ling—was highlighted by the rhythmic playing of cymbals, streaming tones of long horns and drums, and rows of Rinpoches’ students lined up waving katags and burning incense.

    IN FEBRUARY AND MARCH 2004, THE VENERABLE KHENPOS LED A GROUP OF STUDENTS ON A PILGRIMAGE TO INDIA TO DEDICATE THE NEW MIRACLE STUPA. ONE PILGRIM RECOUNTS THE BLESSINGS ALONG THE WAY.

    Our pilgrimage began when we stepped inside Padma Samye Chokhor Ling Monastery in Sarnath after days of travel.
